In Corendon’s anniversary year, the iconic Boeing 747 in the garden of the Corendon Amsterdam Schiphol Airport Hotel in Badhoevedorp is the canvas for a mega project by artist Lieuwe Van Gogh. Van Gogh, known for his colourful, expressive style and raw portraits, has designed a striking work of art for the aircraft. What makes this project extra special is that Corendon employees also made their own creative contribution, which Van Gogh incorporated into the work of art.
The project is an idea of Gunay Uslu, CEO of Corendon: “Travel is emotion, experience, identity. That is exactly what we capture in this work of art. Together with Lieuwe and our colleagues, we are creating something that lasts, that is visible to thousands of guests and passers-by. An artistic monument that tells the story of Corendon and that is dedicated to the hundreds of employees who work for our travellers every day.”
